[OM] Swaps

(Hope this isn't a list faux pas...)

I've got some radio gear advertised for sale elsewhere on the web. If anyone here is interested in swapping for or toward some Zuiko lenses I'm game.

There are two scanner radios left over from my days in journalism:

Radio Shack Pro-2006 tabletop, 400 channels, full spectrum (wink-wink);

Radio Shack Pro-43 handheld, 200 channels, unique EPROM memory storage ensures presets aren't lost when batteries die;

also, a Sony ICF-2010 AM/FM/SW portable. Primarily one of the best ever for full AM mode reception of longwave, mediumwave (that's plain old AM broadcast band, or BCB, to most folks) and shortwave. Also includes FM BCB and airband.

All in perfect working order with minor cosmetic blemishes. Full documentation for all. E-mail me, lexjenkins@xxxxxxxxxxx, for details.

I keep waffling on this one but I'd consider trading Fat Viv as well, a Vivitar Series 1 28-90 f/2.8-3.5 varifocal that came with my OM-1. Handy as she is, I keep reminding myself I got the OM-1 primarily for macro work. No point in duplicating my Canon arsenal with big lenses.

Right now I'm primarily interested in a Zuiko 50/3.5 macro 'cause I want to keep things light. I'm working on a project documenting a particular type of architectural style peculiar to parts of Texas and the SW USA. I figure the 50/3.5 will handle establishing shots and detail shots well enough for my purposes.

I'd also consider the 28/2, 50/2 or 85/2. The main thing is I need close focusing ability without distortion.

Thanks,
Lex
