Hi, all!
We have had discussions on the list in the past about which Tamron Adaptall 2
mounts are "safe" on OM-4s and which are not. I had asserted that the "OL"
"Japan" mounts were the "good" mounts. After having about 8 of these mounts,
I now have one labeled "OL" "Japan" that has the "bad" screw placement. A
previous owner must have had an OM-4, because this mount has had the epoxy
treatment. Someone (Gary Schloss?) had written during the previous
discussions that they had seen this type of mount, so apparently there are a
number of them out there.
Just thought I'd throw this out for clarification. Or to muddy the waters! ;-)
