Electro Magnetic Interference, a very serious problem with almost all
forms of electronic devices. Often lumped with RFI (Radio Frequency
Interference. Usually the problems arise from the need to cool or
ventilate the device. A totally sealed ferro metal box is a very good
EMI shield, but the internal heat buildup would eventually fry the
device.
