Joel --Interesting story.  I haven't had just that happen, but my OM-4 will
sometimes decide to fire the shutter on alternate winds of the advance
lever.  This is a particular problem if the linkage on the lens is a bit
stiff.  BUT!  -- The camera always works perfectly with the winder.  I'm
sure John H. knows why, but as long as I have a fix I won't be sending it in
for repair  (eats batteries anyway) -- sigh.
