Steve -- My OM2n does the same thing -- keeps on "winding" and cocking the
shutter after the film has run out. Obviously the film isn't going
anywhere -- and I'm not sure that the shutter is working either -- but I
don't see any problem here, either. Hope I understood your post correctly.
