The pentax spotmeter has a 46mm thread for filters, correcto?
====================================

yes. but my OM lenses don't, so I have to meter through a different
filter. moreover, spotmetering through a filter is rife with potential
for errors anyway, which is why i don't try to spotmeter through filters.
so polarizers are more difficult to use this way, and bellows factor
is not taken into account in macro situations.
