Hi everyone and happy new year,

I read everything posted but rarely have the chance to ask a question so
here goes.

I was reading Lee Hawkings XA Q&A and thought I'd try using a 2XND filter
to use other speeds of film besides the 100 and 400 marked on the flash.
The problem I'm having is that when I went to my local photo store the
gel was something like $30. Is this what they cost? I'd imagine all I'd
need is a square inch or two. Are there any suggestions of what else
might work. I've seen the gels at Adorama for about $7, but I'm sure the
shipping would probably double that.

Thanks!
