I never will make it to Tonga this year, but am scouting out locations for
the first sunsire of year 2000. I hope to catch the sun rising over the Los
Angeles basin from the Palos Verde Peninsula and Hills and want to do one of
those photos with the city lights below and sunrise above. I plan to use a
split neutral density filter and have a 2 stop soft gradation filter. Does
anyone have any experience with this type of photography and could offer some
hints?
