: As Brian put it the "poor man's version" that can run hand held. Hoping to
: improve the hit rate for small specular highlights off the surface of the
: eye and get less shadow running hand held. Got the idea from seeing a
: flash unit recently (late model N*k*n?) that has two tubes . . . a large
: one on a bounce head and a smaller one below it on the body of the flash
: that doesn't tilt.

Another cool lightweight setup is the T28 Macro Twin Flash. You can slide one
head
on the T Power Control, and maybe use the T32 Wide Adapter to reduce its output,
and the other head on a flash bracket, preferrably one that can be changed from
an
L shape into a straight shape. This gives you various ways to combine bounced
flash with fill-in flash, or to make sure the main flash is always above the
lens,
in portrait and in landscape, or to increase the angle of coverage. Its GN of
28m
(single head activated) or 22m (both heads activated) maybe a bit low for bounce
flash with slow film, however.
