Despite the highest degree of care, you discovered a new form of multicoating
<joke>. No, what you've done is left a molecule thick layer of oils on the
mirror. Try it again making sure to wash your hands well with a non-residue
soap (such as ivory), using clean never before used material (cotton gauze)
and some fresh isopropyl.
