I use a 49mm Tiffen screw in metal hood for most of my lenses 35, 50, 100
for both Olympus OM-1 and Pentax KX. I rummaged through the junk bin at a
store and found a Bushnell binocular lens cap that fit loosely, and a bit
of gaffer's tape in the inside of the hood made it fit really well. Looks
bad, works great.
