[OM] Olympus OM Webring

I have just created the Olympus OM Webring, with Ring ID OlympusOM, at
http://www.webring.org/ and hereby invite everyone who has a website related to
Olympus OM equipment, Olympus OM photography or containing a gallery with
pictures (mainly) shot with Olympus OM equipment to join it!

For those who don't know what a Webring is, info can be obtained at the URL
above. In short, it is a cluster of sites (pages) related to one subject, where
each site contains a small piece of HTML code that allows users to jump to the
next site (or previous site) that is member of the ring. Sort of a circular link
page. The URLs of sites that join the webring are added by a RingMaster (me, in
this case) and stored in a database. The piece of code each member adds to
his/her site refers to that database, using a member ID, so there is no need for
ring members to continuously change this code when new members are added or
links are changed.

Well just move to my Main Site (URL in my signature) and at the bottom you get
an idea how it will look like. The links you see there will start to work as
soon as there are at least five sites part of the ring. You will also find
instructions what info you will have to send to me directly (*not using this
Olympus Mailing List!!!*) that I need to add your site.

It doesn't matter if your site doesn't look "professional" (mine doesn't either
;) or if it only contains one page, as long as there is some relation to Olympus
OM. If you join your site will get much more visitors!

There will be NO commercial banners added to your site. YOU are in control of
the small piece of code that YOU add to your site. The only requirement is that
you add the links you'll find on my ring table (next site, previous site etc.)
in some form because without them your membership of the ring wouldn't make any
sense.

So the rules are:
1) your site is somehow related to Olympus OM (OM based galleries, equipment,
technique,..)
2) YOU are the WebMaster of the site you wish to add
3) only ONE URL per site can be added
4) you must be willing to add the small piece of HTML code to your page that
allows the users to continue their circular web surfing when they reach your
site; this piece of code must be added ASAP after you receive your Site ID.

You don't have to be a professional HTML specialist or Java programmer to add
the piece of code. Basically, you can just copy and paste the (code from the)
Ring Table (containing previous, next etc.) from my site into yours and change
all references to the Site Id from mine (id=1) into yours (id=x) where x is the
Site Id you'll receive after your site is added by me.

I hope to welcome as many OM related sites as possible, and preferrably
including all the well-known 'mainstream' OM sites.
