Hi Morgan.

I am not completely sure, but it probably means that plus/minus wires
are connected differently in the Kodak than in the Olympus gear. One
of the wires in the PC cable/socket is connected to the camera house.
If this is the positive wire (the odd 200-300 volt!) while the
negative is connected to the metal parts of the bounce grip (and OM
cameras) than you will suffer from shock when holding both in your
hands. If this is really true, then you would have a short circuit
with a lot of sparks ;-) if the metals of grip and camera would touch
each other...
