The following is a site at which you can have a look at the cover page of each
of the photography books published by Genkosha, a publisher specializing in
photography.
http://www.genkosha.co.jp/ps/index.html
You can get to the photography book pages by clicking on the numbers on the
left.

Each book is about the size of A4 with 60 pages. The photographs are
presented
without technical details in the main section. At the end of each book, there
are a few pages of the text by the photographer describing his photography
training and interest. This is followed by the English translation. Index
consists of thumbnail size b&w photos with Japanese descriptions and technical
information in English. Each book is roughly 2000Yen.
The following is information on the locations of the Kinokuniya Bookstores in
the world. You might note that the New York branch is just one of many branch
locations.
