I had a Visoflex III with my M2 years ago and if I remember correctly the
fittings were totally different from anything else. It used a focussing
mount rather like a variable extension tube unmarked with any distance
scales, etc., in conjunction with a 65mm Elmarit lens head with manual
iris - another exclusive fitting. It was an odd thing to use. To make the
exposure you pulled back a bent lever which lifted the mirror, and the end
of the lever was a tube which pressed the shutter release, threaded so that
you could adjust the delay after MLU. The eyepiece fitted over the accessory
shoe so you had to remove the coupled Leicameter and operate it in your
hand. As a Leica accessory it was uncommonly ungainly but an s.l.r. solution
of sorts.
