I have nothing to add to the Spiratone discussion, but there
may be a viable alternative. Keppler has tested several versions
of the generic 400/6.3 and 500/8 lens sold by [ and my statements
about this company remains unchanged ] Cambridge, and maybe other
outfits under a different guise, I hope ?
There was a recent test of the 500/8 on a 6x4.5cm body, and
it did amazingly well for the cost (150 or so, I think).
