It's the July 1999 issue of Popular Photography.
As for selling a lot of em, Oly must be somewhat pleased with their
sales, or they wouldn't be upgrading to 3rd generation I would think.
This one has predictive AF (though not super-fast). Perhaps a new IS-4
is on the way with even more AF features, who knows. I must say that
I'm starting to notice quite a few folks using IS-x cameras now when I'm
travelling.
