On a tablesaw use a very fine-toothed blade, such as sold for cutting plywood. Good for cutting blocks to size. But a bandsaw with a fine toothed blade is still better.

I'd forgotten about knife-edge jigsaw blades. Thanks.

Thanks for the "dumpster" tip re where to find black foam; I'll check the
local computer store. The following recommendations are (obviously) for
OM gear only, making them kosher for posting: I've cut a lot of
(expensive store-bought) black foam, and have learned that it's best cut
with a smooth (knife-edge) jigsaw blade. (I suppose they make a
knife-edge bandsaw (butcher's?) blade, too, but have not tried this.) The
knife-edge jigsaw blade is a specialty blade for which you may have to
hunt around, or order online, but the results are well worth it. Dear
listreader, please remember to cut each hole a bit smaller than the O.D.
of the Zuiko or OM body it holds. (I aim for about an 1/8 inch smaller
all around, depending on size of the object). I've had real bad luck with
cutting foam on tablesaws.
