In some of the gas stations down here (in rural Alabama) you can still get
the plastic flash cubes (and flash strips for your Polariod One Step). I
think I had a Swinger --- you had to peel apart the pieces of film and
count to 60?

I'll admit it. Flash bulbs were beautiful things - I can still remember the
smoke slowly moving aroung in a freshly flashed bulb. Do you remember
the
flash cube and how the plastic would bubble up after the flash. My dad
had
a big Polaroid Land Camera that had an external flash horn for those
large
bulbs - really cool.
On an unrelated issue... Anyone else ever own a Swinger?
