Regarding my Olympus Equipment Classifieds site on EPage, I don't mind at all
that somebody else will take over or put something similar to this with a more
catchy name like "OM Trading Post". I have too many things at my site and
plenty of visitors to the other sections of my site. Currently my current
Olympus Information site has 100s of visitors every week, more than my Schubert
Project page. Currently the ad placed by a collector in the UK seems to offer
an interesting assortment of OM gear and I think more people should look at it
although I don't know anything about the person. I only had one e-mail exchange
with him.

The advantage of the EPage site is that they do the ad taking and forwarding the
potential buyers' messages. It is free to boot.

If this kind of site is to be successful, people have to use it more often,
rather than using the Olympus list for commercial postings. I, for one, am
against for for-sale posts on the list. "FYI" posts pointing to the obscure
location of certain Oly gear are acceptable, in which instance the poster does
not have any financial gains associated with posting.

More discussions of the topic are needed. We just have to remember that the
host of this list in on an academic institution.
