The OM-2(N) uses different cells for the manual (what you see in the
viewfinder) metering and the OTF/OTC metering.  I assumed what you saw in
the viewfinder would be consistent whether the switch was on "manual" or
"auto", maybe there is a calibration problem.  I will check my OM-2N tonight
!
