Here are my SQF values for a 35mm f/2.8 Zuiko Shift. In short, this lens has
an eye-popping ability to shift the image up/down, left/right, or combination
thereof. It seems to exceed the range of my 4x5 field camera. The light
fall-off at max offset is significant and makes for harder focusing of
subjects. However, this fall-off doesn't translate to any noticable
vignetting, apart from a moderate increase in that which occurs shooting wide
open. Image rendering ability wide open is underwhelming (esp. at maximum
offset) and the lens shows a significant jump in performance at f/5.6. The
lens design seems to be optimized for better performance off center, so it
wouldn't be the ideal lens for general subject photography with no offset,
apart from the obvious lack of an automatic diaphram.

35mm f/2.8 Zuiko Shift (single-coated?)
@ no offset
Vignetting = A-
Distortion = barrel
Aperture  Center    Corner
f/2.8     C-        C-
f/4       C+        B-
f/5.6     B         B
f/8       B+        A-
f/11      B+        A
f/16      B+        B
f/22      B-        B

@ maximum offset
Vignetting = B-
Distortion = barrel
Aperture  Center    Corner
f/2.8     D         C
f/4       C-        C
f/5.6     B         B-
f/8       B+        B+
f/11      B+        B+
f/16      B         B
f/22      B-        B-
Note: moderately low contrast, probably not multicoated, at least not on most
surfaces. Corner values are at a corner most off center.
