Hi Dan,

I just did this fairly recently using Goo Gone with a little denatured
alcohol as a chaser.

I use Pliobond. Like it, works well, and smells good (not).

I seem to have used a lot of toothpicks and cotton-tip swabs, of which I
like the plastic stemmed kind because they can be flattened with pliers and
fit into the foam groove.  Tape a piece of paper over the shutter opening
to keep boogers out.
