I've been told that it is not possible to tell, by using the serial number,
when an OM camera was made. Is this true? If it is true, does anyone know why?
If it is possible to tell by serial number, where can I find the info so I can
look it up? I've never seen this mentioned in the several Olympus books that I
own.
