[OM] Exp. comp. indicator question

Subject: [OM] Exp. comp. indicator question

Hi.

Thanks for reading my post.

I'm sorry to take up space like this, but I've searched the FAQ and the
archives and couldn't find anything.

On this 4T, the exposure compensation indicator light (flashing +-
symbol) in the viewfinder stays on even though the exposure compensation
dial is set at zero. Apparently, the camera *IS* being compensated, even
though my dial says it isn't. I have tried to "reset" the camera by
setting it to "B" and toggling the manual/auto switch, but to no avail.

Could it be related to the improper batteries?

Thanks for your help/time. I really appreciate it.

Sleigh
