Look where the mirror meets the pentaprism.  It dampens the mirror "slap."
Also the channel in the camera when the back fits when closed.  There are
right angles to the top and bottom of the removable back.  Those horizontal
orientated angles fit into grooves or slots or channels (whatever you want to
call them) on the back of teh camera proper.*  The foam is in there.  There is
also a vertical length of foam near the hinge of the removable back.

* You can often detect ongoing foam rot because of residual foam and glue on
these "right angles."
