Am I missing something VERY fundamental here? I thought 1.8 to 3.5
would be TWO stops, not one. I thought the progression in one stop
increments went:
1 - 1.4 - 2 - 2.8 - 4 - 5.6 etc.
i.e. each doubling of the number was TWO stops, and so 1.8 to 2.8 (there
being no 2.0 on a 1.8 lens) would be a bit more than 2 to 2.8 and so
would be about a stop and a third.
HELP!
