Hmm, the T32 still works perfectly using internal batteries, so I very
much doubt if the capacitor is at fault.  Also, the NICAD batteries
were not excessively discharged, nor did they show signs of
overheating.  The part of the grip that got warm was the area
immediately above the battery compartment, where I presume the
inverter is housed.
