We discussed this subject several months ago. You can search the archives
for details if you wish. I believe the conclusion we came to was that it was
indeed a typo. The author was referring to the 300 f4.5 and the 400mm f6.3.
To my knowledge, no other reference to the two phantom lenses has ever
surfaced.
