Whilst slogging through the archives (amazing how you can wander around
through such a mosaic of good stuff and the clock magically winds around like
a tachometer) I came upon the compatability of various Zuiko lenses with the
OM 2x converter. Gary Reese listed the 200 f/4 as being compatable. but the
200 f/5 was not mentioned. Is there a problem with the rear element of the
f/5 snagging the converter (or some other hitch), or is it a satisfactory
combination?
Just had Wall Street Camera send out a 200 f/5 that should be here after Labor
Day. Have any New Yorkers or mail order shoppers on the list seen this one or
know a history of it having been passed around and rejected? It was listed as
"LN" @ $159, but I was told it was... "eh, about a '9'" ...over the phone.
Hmmmm.
