LED's and LCD's are completely different display technologies. No, they
can't ordinarily be swapped straight in or out. (ETC ETC ETC)
Fluorescent lights have many attributes which make them desireable but you
can't burn them in the fireplace instead of logs. (different technology)
Diesels (except that the exhausts cause cancer) have many desireable
attributes but you can't just put diesel fuel in your CAMRY or JETTA, again
different technology. However if you attempt either of the above a good
choice of technology to record the event would be Oly. (see how I worked
that in?)
