Thanks go to to Denton and Gary for posting the CAT photographs. It is an
interesting comparison: Gary's shots demonstrate that careful choice of
lighting and subject can reduce the problem of low contrast images, while
Denton's photos nicely illustrate the value of incorporating the low
contrast as an artistic element of the photographs themselves.
Of the two, I actually prefer the much maligned street scene-it has a
romantic quality that I like.
