In the August 98 Shutterbug, page 211, Woodmere Camera has an M-1 "kit"
listed.
They say the M-1 was produced in a quantity of around 252 pieces.
This body comes with the appropriate 50 1.8 (lens ring says "M System".)
and is available for only $1399. Dream on.
It probably needs a new prism and back foam by now.
By the way, I have some of those very name rings for the oldest 50 1.8s
that say "M System". I just....misplaced them....somewhere, in my parts
department.
