Using Shutterbug as a guide (adjust as you see fit), here is the scoop on
pricing for the 85 mm f/2.0:
Mint (10) $269
Exc+ (9) $199-275
Exc to Exc- (8) $264
VG (7) $175
Undifferentiated or "user?" grade $139
BTW, in 1987 this lens sold through Shutterbug for $100-139, which would be
worth $136-189 in 1996. That is more appreciation in value than typical.
This Zuiko is a floating element design.
I found a user grade, single coated one in an Amarillo, TX shop for $60 in
1997. It earns it's keep in my camera vest. I'd rate the frequency of
locating them for sale as uncommon.
