I have never had the chance to use a 55/1.2, but from what I heard about it
from various sources I understand that it is by far not as good as the later
50/1.2 model.

As to the 85/2 - I consider myself lucky to own this lens and think that it
may be one of the best Olympus ever made. It is certainly the best portrait
lens I have used so far and has also given me outstanding results on some
landscape shots. If I were you, I'd definitely go for the 85 mm.
