Although at first sight you may think the blades themselves are
sticking (a difficult job to tackle oneself) it may just be the
linkage between the operating tab on the mount and the ring that
closes the blades (a relatively easy job).

Press the DOF preview button and rotate the aperture ring between its
extremities. Are the blades still sluggish? If they're not, the
linkage is sticky and you're in luck. After my 35 F2 had made several
trips to a supposed authorised Olympus repairer over here who
repeatedly missed this point, I removed the lens mount and applied a
tiny dab of moly disulphide paste to the linkage pivots. It's worked
perfectly ever since (more than 20 years).

Personally I wouldn't dare try to dismantle the lens "core" or the
diaphragm assembly myself, though there may be some on the list who
are braver than me!
