Yes - The 35mm f2 will give you a brighter viewfinder image - which 
for me equates with easier focusing.  It also is a floating element 
design intended to correct for distortion, especially in close 
focusing.  Here is an extract from the OM lens .pdf brochure

"The smaller the focal length and the greater the angle of view the
more distortion can appear in the photograph. To prevent this Olympus
has produced a full set of cor-rected floating element lenses. The
18mm ?3,5, 21mm ?2.0, 24mm ?2.0, 28mm ?2.0, and 35mm ?2.0 lenses are
all floating element designs with excellent image quality from their
closest to furthest point of focus."
