Yes I'm sure there's no problem here. The flash extender is short,
thick and solid. I shouldn't be worried about the strenght of the
camera's hot shoe, either. The OM1, 2, 3 and 4 *are* professional
cameras, as you will know. I use the extender + T32 all the time on my
OM4, no problem. Much easier to carry than the PBG too; it fits in your
pocket!
The only weak point is the T32 itself. Its foot is mounted with four
tiny screws in four tiny plastic hollow bars. When you drop the
combination, or hit it against a wall, the foot of the T32 will be
amputated. I lost one of mine, when it was mounted outdoors on a
portable tripod, with an semi-transparant umbrella attached to it. And
then suddenly, without warning, the wind sprang up... Fortunately I
managed to reconnect the wires, and glued it together as the bars were
broken. It still works fine, but looks repaired.

A real thing to worry about is the balance of the combination when you
hold it in portrait mode. The heavy T32 mounted on the extender feels
even more unbalanced as when it's directly attached to the camera; it
is fatiguing to hold it a long time like this. The light-weighted T20
will have less trouble here, and even more so the T18. When I don't
need the T32 power or don't want to carry it around, the extender and
T18 combi always come along - they both fit in a small side pocket of a
camera bag. When I do mount the T32, using a winder greatly improves
the portrait mode balance.

I didn't know about its ability to be mounted on the PBG either, untill
I bought my second extender. The first one came without the plug, the
second one with. Then I started thinking about its possible function...

The F280 can also be mounted, but the shoe of the extender is shoe 4,
so only standard TTL flash is possible, and no super FP.
