[OM] Close up Filters

Hello All,

I picked up a set of hoya close up filters. Any advice on using these. For
example how much does the lens you attach it to affect the close focus
distance. I have only one lens in the 55mm filter ring, a 135 f2.8. I am
considering purchasing a step up ring for the 49mm lenses, would this be
worth it?

Yes, mirror lock-up. Only the OM-1 (md, n) have it.

Rewind release.

The on/off switch is supposed to turn the meter on and off. If it
doesn't.... check the battery first. Hopefully the meter isn't toast. The
rewind release is on the front.

Not me. UV filters are a tool of the devil.

Should be very reliable. Removing it is nice as it gives more eye-brow room.

Paul has answers in stock for $23 each. <vbg>
