By Minolta?? I have never seen one -- maybe it was only sold in
Japan and the rest of Asia.
In addition to the OM-F/30, I'm only aware of models by Pentax
(the ME-F, they also invented the category, btw), Canon (with two
entries: the AL-1 and the T-80), and Nikon (the F-3 AF).
A propos the F-3 AF, it was such a poor seller that it is now a
collectible fetching well over $1-1.5K. The other members of this
category are almost giveaways in comparison.
I have an OM-F which I use only for night photography (my eyesight
gets very poor at night). Naturally, I use it on a tripod, so the
high sensitivity of the focus assist system, which in normal circum-
stances causes the LED arrows to "hunt", is actually beneficial.

What?? They have shown you anything Olympus?? How dare they?? I must
have that little talk with them AGAIN, as they are under permanent
instructions to show any OLY stuff only to moi(!) :-) :-)
Seriously though, I believe that you may have seen a Vivitar 28-70 AF
in OM mount. Vivitar also made a couple of other lenses/zooms in a
similar AF configuration, namely w/built-in motors.
