I didn't want to go back to the coin discussion, but since Richard
brought it up, I thought I'd let you all in on the perfect coin
that I have found.

The perfect coin for the Olympus battery/MD cover is the Hong Kong
$1 coin. It is of the exact thinkness and diameter for that slot.

I've seen many covers ruined by the American (or Canadian) quarter,
which is really too thin and too small. The Nickel is the correct
thinkness, but it is even smaller. The problem with the coins of
most other countries is that they are too thin. I've tried the
Japanese 50 Yen (? the one with the hole in it) but I also find that
to be too thin and too small. There is an Italian coin that is
also a good match (500 Lira?).

I hope this is the last word on the perfect coin. I am sure Mr.
Lee in Hong Kong will agree.
