Before I bought my Tamron S, 90mm f2.8 macro, I read an article by a guy
who said he also wrote for an unnamed German photo mag who had tested
macros. He said that the Tamron had bested many original equipment
suppliers like Nikon, Canon, etc. I have not used mine a whole lot, but the
results sure look great to me. It is just awfully big and moosey.
