Hi Volkart

I had the same problem, tried tape from tesa, paper and fabric based
ones. The paper based were not strong enough to hold the stiff PVC
leatherette, the fabric based ones (for carpets) were sticky enough, but
to thick.
I changed to UHU Alleskleber, just wait a moment, evaporating the
solvent a bit, before you atach the leatherette.
