The OM-10 has a mechanical 1/2000th shutter speed, called the "mini" shutter.
This is set up incase the customer accidentally goes a stop over 1000 in the
auto mode. Unfortunately, even when the mini is set up, it becomes moot if
there's oil on the shutter magnet. This drags 1000 down to 500 (easily). When
the magnet is clean and the mini is set up to 0.5 ms, 1/2000 is possible,
though the plastic shutter shafts may melt ;-)
