The name ring of the lens unscrews.  There might be 2 notches on the outer edge 
of the name ring, allowing spanner wrench
insertion.
Otherwise,  a rubber faced tool must be pressed against the name ring and then 
twisted, this also unscrews the name ring.
Lift off name ring, install new one if it is available.  I beleive the part 
number is CE1569.
