I received an e-mail today rom Kazufusa Taneichi of Olympus Japan. He said
that he was mailing a 1998 calendar to those requested, but he did not get
as many calendars for his use as he would like. Therefore he cannot send a
1998 calendar to everyone who made a request . When I posted to the list
about the calendar, I had not asked whether the calendar would be available
to anyone who requests for one. I apologize for any disappointment some
of you might have.

The calendar was superbly printed in the UK. It looks like it was
produced by Olympus to promote WWF, whose international headquarters are
located at WWF International, Avenue du Mont Blanc, CH-1196 Gland,
Switzerland. WWF has a web site, but this calendar is not mentioned on
the site. The calendar urges people to make a donation or become a WWF
member.

Mr. Taneichi did not answer my question of whether or not Hoshino used
Olympus.
